Winter is the Enemy.

As I so lyrically out it, I am getting so f**king sick of winter.
The night before last Mother Nature decided to repay us for all plastic water bottles we use by dumping 4 feet of snow on Toronto. Normally this wouldn't be a surprise but last week we broke records with tear-of-joy inducing high temperatures, that make you foolishly believe that spring is coming early.
And the snow all came in fast (over 12 hours) and sideways....and right into your eyes...no matter which direction you look in!! Whoever invented wind that moves in all directions..it's not a popular idea...people don't like it.
 So to say F**k You too....I put on what I would like to wear out today.
*Note I am still wearing boots and a hat.....I am fed up...not bat shit crazy. I have always refused to be one of those girls lined up for a club on a Friday night is -25 Celsius (for Americans...that's f**king cold)....in open toe strappy shoes and a mini skirt. Freeze bitches, survival of the fittest.

These are some photos I did for the March Le.Look photo Contest. I love this contest because you have so much to choose from, from great vendors and some of the items are exclusive to the Le.Look sim.  It's a fabulous place to shop even if you don't wanna enter.
This time I really wanted to go take some pics outside the studio with just sky and water setting and very little PS.
It was a mostly satisfying experience until that guy who spoke very little English wandered into the shot and asked me if I wanted to have sex......I am  so used to this happening in RL but come on SL!!

NV Corsetry Contest: SteamPunk

There are three categories in the March NV:Corsetry Contest. Avant Garde, Steampunk and Club....I am not much of a clubber so that was out...but I love Avant garde and steampunk is killer bee! INSPIRED BY IMPENDING DOOM

I'm in the midwest...which means I am right now trapped in the frozen wintery hell that is being referred to as SNOWMAGEDDON 2011 (dun dun dun) But seriously, it's really bad out. So in honor of this disaster I threw a little white number together. I love the contrast with the dark hair and dramatic, almost mysterious makeup that's on the new Vilda skin from LAQ.

PHOENIX CLOSING

As I'm sure most of you already know that Phoenix Rising is closing. All their inventory is on sale for 100L for an undetermined amount of time. So I went on a bit of a spree. Here I'm showing off probably my favorite item out of all I bought. Its the Fib Skirt in pink. I also bought in black too, but for some reason the pink was the only item in the store that was more than 100L. Maybe just a mistake, but no matter, it was still a great deal and I was in love with it. I matched it with a DP Yum Yum tank top and Maitreya Shanti in Snow Leopard. I love the little hints of pink on the footbed. I got these at last years shoe fair, where they were a show exclusive at the time but they are available now at Maitreya Gold.
