I decided to join in on the "What's Your Digits?" project started by Berry of strawberrysingh.com. In world, I'm a proud burlesque performer at the Viva La Glam sim, so I pay a lot of attention to my shape in hopes that others will too *badabum* When I created my shape, there were three factors that were the most important. I wanted my SL body to be proportionate, natural and curvy. I'm on the thick side for SL standards, so sometimes resizing can be a pain, and there's certain things I just can't wear (just like RL). But overall, I love the shape I created, and I can't foresee ever changing it. Besides, who would want to resize all that stuff again? :P

Here I'm showing off the new skin release from Apple May Designs. I've never used skins from there before but with the release being 25L a set for 48 hours I couldn't pass it up. It's overall a pretty skin. I think the eye makeup could be a little smoother. The "smokey eye" sort of looks chopped off at the outer corner, but with hair its hard to tell. I also could have done with a little more pigmentation to the lips.

I have been slacking something awful on these posts. RL just seems to keep getting in the way. I took these pics over a week ago and when i went to do the editing, I couldn't find where I saved them! But here they are, I wanted to do something playful, and to me that means "doll". The skin is an older Curio line called Lovely II. It has a really pretty and innocent face with just a hint of worry to it. I thought it added a nice overall feel to the outfit.

I'm in the midwest...which means I am right now trapped in the frozen wintery hell that is being referred to as SNOWMAGEDDON 2011 (dun dun dun) But seriously, it's really bad out. So in honor of this disaster I threw a little white number together. I love the contrast with the dark hair and dramatic, almost mysterious makeup that's on the new Vilda skin from LAQ.

So today is a mix of new and new to me. First, is one of three new hairstyles from LeLutka, Keiko. It's a really cute, asymmetrical cut. Next up is something new from a store that's new itself. There's really been a buzz forming around The Secret Store, as well as it should. The clothes are very pretty, a nice mix of high fashion and soft femininity at very reasonable prices. There isn't a big inventory right now, but I'm looking forward to seeing more items. My jacket is a new release, Les Bleuets. The one I'm wearing is in the color Plum, a special edition sold at the Designers Showcase for only 100L! Now new to me, are the Seaman pants from BOOM. I love super wide leg pants and a big TY to my friend who pointed them out to me :)
