Winter is the Enemy.

As I so lyrically out it, I am getting so f**king sick of winter.
The night before last Mother Nature decided to repay us for all plastic water bottles we use by dumping 4 feet of snow on Toronto. Normally this wouldn't be a surprise but last week we broke records with tear-of-joy inducing high temperatures, that make you foolishly believe that spring is coming early.
And the snow all came in fast (over 12 hours) and sideways....and right into your eyes...no matter which direction you look in!! Whoever invented wind that moves in all directions..it's not a popular idea...people don't like it.
 So to say F**k You too....I put on what I would like to wear out today.
*Note I am still wearing boots and a hat.....I am fed up...not bat shit crazy. I have always refused to be one of those girls lined up for a club on a Friday night is -25 Celsius (for Americans...that's f**king cold)....in open toe strappy shoes and a mini skirt. Freeze bitches, survival of the fittest.

Last but not least...

In real life I am not really a fan of high-waisted pants. I am sorry..I know they are very popular right now...but they bring back terrible 90's fashion nightmares and I can't help but be repelled. I hate anything that I can feel rubbing against my stomach and my belly button needs to breathe. These things however do not bother me in SL. Also my SL ass is alot nicer.

 I took these pictures at the amazing Looking Glass sim. They do nothing to show how beautiful and detailed the sim is...so go and look around...go now....I will wait.

 All that matters is I love these pants. The details are great....and anything that looks cute while I dash around the grid barefoot works for me.

EXCITING AND NEW

So today is a mix of new and new to me. First, is one of three new hairstyles from LeLutka, Keiko. It's a really cute, asymmetrical cut. Next up is something new from a store that's new itself. There's really been a buzz forming around The Secret Store, as well as it should. The clothes are very pretty, a nice mix of high fashion and soft femininity at very reasonable prices. There isn't a big inventory right now, but I'm looking forward to seeing more items. My jacket is a new release, Les Bleuets. The one I'm wearing is in the color Plum, a special edition sold at the Designers Showcase for only 100L! Now new to me, are the Seaman pants from BOOM. I love super wide leg pants and a big TY to my friend who pointed them out to me :)

Woo! Two posts in a row featuring great jeans, and these are very much the opposite of the skinny ones from last. The Nora Jeans from LeLutka are absolutely fantastic. Great texture and I love the super wide flare. It's matched with the top part of Hucci's Shayla dress. It's a great cut and I think has the same retro flavor to go with the jeans. Now the shoes. THE SHOES! I had to take my pants off so you could see them, ha! These are the [Gos] Platform Pump, and I love them. And you should too. You know why? Aside from them being super sexy the black patent leather ones than I'm wearing are an exclusive special offer on Xstreet for $100L! Normally priced $295L. They're totally scripted but they fit perfect out of the box. You also have the ability to change your metal and wear it with or without the strap.

My partner said this was gaudy. Good. I am not shy about the fact that I love leopard print and glitter. If I have the chance to combine them, hell yeah, I'm takin' it. So here's a leopard print blouse from Pink Outfitters. It's sheer on top so unless you're looking for a nip slip, wear something under it. I'm also rocking my hot ass Decoy jeans. I say hot ass because they make your ass look hawt! Great butt shading I must say. Never thought I'd use the term butt shading but who knew. For accessories I have the Loop set from Fri.day. It's a great versatile set. I say spend a little more and get the 24/7 pack. It makes a great accessory staple. Lastly are my Nardcotix Kurvy Ruby Slippers. These were an exclusive gift for group member in Xmas 09 so I don't think they're available for sale :( But comparably, they have a style called Absinthe with the same sparkly red texture :)
